My philosophy is the mouth to body connection. So I really believe and I like to educate patients on this aspect that whatever is going on in our mouth directly affects our body. So if someone has a lot of bacteria, they have gum disease and lots of cavities and that sort of thing, then it's going to impact your body in a negative effect. It's going to exacerbate heart problems. It's going to impact your kidneys, your liver, and the organs of your body. So we strive to educate patients about getting rid of bacteria. Let's treat those gums, get those gums in better health. Let's get the oral cavity back to its original condition so you're healthier as an individual, not just in your mouth.
The team approach we have here is great. I surround myself with friendly, caring, kind, compassionate staff, and I feel like I have that. I've had staff here since the inception, since I was here in 1998-99. And they're still here with me. So that says a lot. And we like to have almost like a family atmosphere here. And we want to really promote that to patients.
